Learn To Light, Pose, And Highlight The Human Body Form.

Fine Art Nude Photography is about capturing the beauty of the human form. Using light, shadows, posing and creative expression, you can bring out the beauty of your subjects and the human body. Since communication is of the outmost importance when photographing nudes, Constantinos Mouhtaris will discuss the etiquette of preparation, setting expectations, directing, and working with your subjects.He’ll cover posing techniques and tips on what to emphasize and what to avoid and discuss the importance of lighting and how it affects the body form. Constantinos will also discuss how to push yourself creatively while maintaining a tasteful and artistic vision.This course begins with a good look at the genre of art nude photography, including a range of examples to cement your ideas. Next, we get our heads around how to organize an Art Nude shoot so that everything runs smoothly. Everything you need to know is covered – from sourcing and booking your model to finding a location – together with instruction on the poses and etiquette of this photographic art form.A particularly valuable aspect of the course is the opportunity to direct the model who will be experienced in the genre and able to help you to achieve some great images.You will see, hands-on the following:
- Common posing mistakes and what to watch for in your subject while directing.
- How to find and communicate with a model.
- How to maintain contact with a model in a safe and creative way.
- What modifiers and lighting setups work and how they impact the appearance of the human form.
- How to accentuate muscles, shapes, and lines with light and camera angles.
- Exploration of creativity with the use of fabrics and other props.
- We will elevate your creative process
- You will experience a unique portrait session and explore your personal fine artwork.
- How to define body shape using one, two and three lights with tuition on how to position each one.
- Demonstration of which modifiers to use and the effects you can achieve, with plenty of time for you to shoot each setup.
- You will learn how to photograph the human form in a variety of positions, working on the aesthetics of shape and form.
- Discover how to create the dramatic low key bodyscapes which are a distinctive style of the genre.
- You will be able to direct the very experienced model and she will assist you to achieve some great images
